Tumut.org aims to provide useful local discovery information, but events, business details, weather, opening hours, external feeds and third-party information can change without notice. Confirm important details with the original provider.
News, event, radio, weather, tourism and other external information remains the responsibility of its original source. Tumut.org may summarise or link to those sources for discovery.
Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt its operation, submit unlawful material or impersonate another person or organisation.
Community accounts are for people who meet the minimum account age shown during registration. Members are responsible for their account security and for content posted through their account. Verification badges describe the specific check completed by Tumut.org and must not be interpreted more broadly.
Tumut.org provides local listing and discovery tools but is not the buyer, seller, employer or payment intermediary in transactions arranged between community members. Users should inspect items and offers carefully, use safe meeting/payment practices and report suspicious content. Prohibited, misleading, dangerous, fraudulent or unlawful listings may be removed and accounts may be restricted.
Free poster, QR and route-planning tools are provided as a convenience. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the address, times and signs they publish, and visitors should check the live listing before travelling because a sale can be updated, postponed or cancelled.
Community polls are informal feedback tools, not scientific surveys, elections or official community consultation. Tumut.org may moderate or remove polls that are misleading, abusive, unsafe or unrelated to the local community.
Optional paid boosts and advertising are clearly labelled promotional placements. Paying for promotion does not buy a positive review, factual ranking or organic directory position. Promotion may be suspended or rejected where content breaches Tumut.org rules or applicable law.
Pro products provide access for the fixed period shown at checkout. They do not automatically renew unless Tumut.org later introduces a separate recurring option and the customer expressly chooses it. Business Pro requires an approved claimed business. Pro benefits and prices shown at purchase apply to that access period; site features may evolve over time.
Paid job listings, lead access, featured deals/events, sponsored stories, Visitor Guide sponsorships and other business products provide the specific placement or access described at checkout. Payment does not guarantee enquiries, sales, applications, traffic, search-engine ranking or other business results. Content remains subject to moderation and factual/community sections remain independent of paid placement.
Business verification indicates the check recorded by Tumut.org at the stated time. Owners are responsible for keeping their listing information current. Community status reports are review signals rather than automatic proof that a business has opened, moved or closed.
Automatically imported jobs are discovery links sourced from configured job providers or permitted feeds. Tumut.org does not guarantee that a vacancy remains open and job seekers should confirm details with the original employer or source. Expired or stale jobs are removed from active listings as part of maintenance.
Marketplace messaging is provided to help members communicate without making account email addresses public. Messages may be retained and reviewed where necessary for abuse, safety or moderation purposes.
Businesses and community organisations can request corrections to inaccurate listing information through the contact page.
