Useful local information is only valuable when visitors can see where it came from, when it was checked and what Tumut.org has done with it.
Our approach
Tumut.org often takes information from an authoritative original source and makes it easier to use for a Tumut-specific question. We do not claim to replace the original authority. For example, NSW FuelCheck remains authoritative for reported NSW fuel prices while Tumut Fuel Watch presents that information as a local comparison.
Whenever practical, live-data pages identify the source, retrieval time, freshness state and a direct link back to the original publisher.
