Tumut.org is built for locals, families, businesses and visitors. These rules keep community features useful and safe.
Post genuine local information, events, jobs, sales, questions and listings that are relevant to Tumut or the surrounding Snowy Valleys community.
Do not post explicit sexual content, hateful or abusive material, targeted harassment, graphic content or deliberately offensive usernames. Profanity may be automatically cleaned, held for review or blocked depending on the wording and context.
Do not use Tumut.org to deceive people, impersonate others, solicit suspicious payments, sell prohibited or illegal items, or post misleading employment or business offers.
Do not publish another person’s private information without permission. Garage-sale hosts can choose how precisely their address is shown.
If circumstances change, update or remove your listing where possible. If you spot incorrect public information, use the correction tools rather than starting an argument.
Tumut.org may edit formatting, hold submissions for review, remove content, restrict posting, suspend accounts or ban accounts when needed to protect the community. Paid promotion never bypasses moderation.
